Big thanks to everyone who came out to both of our shows this past weekend. We started the adventure on Friday night up at Sullivan Hall, NYC. It’s always a great time throwing it down in the Village and we want to thank the crew who hung out with us late night! We should be back in the NYC area sometime this summer.

Saturday was an epic night on our home turf in West Philly at the Havoc Haus. We were very happy to invite you guys into our little world for a night for Becky’s bday celebration. Big thanks to Jedd, Tim, Paul and Lance for hosting, and Upbeat Manifest for keeping the dance party going with us. Special shout out to our brother forever, Richie, for coming up and rocking a few tunes old school style.

We’re working on some new music for the next few weeks and then we’re back headlining at The Fire on Friday, May 11th with The Jack and Something Like a Monument. See you then!

Oh, and don’t forget May is National Hamburger Month!

Hey gang! Hamburger Hunt has been busy this spring and we have several upcoming shows to share with you all.

Friday, April 27th we return to New York City! We’ll be closing out a great evening of music at Sullivan Hall. Big Wake, Gowanus, and Ripe fill out an amazing bill in the village. We can’t wait for our return to the Big Apple! Hamburger Hunt at 11:30 PM.

We’d like to thank everyone who came out for Dave’s first show on guitar! We love the way our sound is developing and maturing with Dave, and had a great time for Mardi Gras at the Blockley. Thanks to Brass Heaven, Swift Technique and the 9′s for making it a great night!

Next up is our return to Triumph Brewery on Saturday, March 10th. We haven’t played Triumph in over a year, and can’t wait to get funky in the best venue in Old City! Nomad Tam & Synth Circus w/Schoolly D round out a great night of music. Don’t miss it!

Hey everyone, hope all you Hamburger homies and hunter-ettes are having a great New Year! We’ve been busy rearranging, moving our practice space, and creating new ideas and music to bring to you in 2012. Our first show of the year will be on Tuesday Feb 21st, a Mardi Gras party at The Blockley! We will be joining our friends Brass Heaven and the fantastic Swift Technique for a night of serious boogieage. OPEN BAR $10 from 8 P.M. until 10 P.M.!

For the first time, we welcome David Barsky on guitar who will be joining Hamburger Hunt at this show. We’ve been working on some fresh takes on your favorite HH tunes and want to thank Dave for all of his creative perspective.

I am sorry to inform my friends, family and fans that this coming show on the 16th of December will be my last show as a member of Hamburger Hunt. I’ve done a lot of soul searching lately and I need time to re-prioritize where I’m at in life and a find better balance. The past 9 years of playing in bands and entertaining people has been a blast, but I don’t feel myself growing as an artist or mastering my craft and at this point in my life I want to find music fun again and dedicate my life to helping others in some way…

I feel blessed that I’ve got to know a lot of great people over the past few years, and this has truly been a communal group effort all the way from the Mole Street basement. I want to thank every last one of you from the bottom of my heart, especially Crazy (without you none of this would be possible), for all the support you have given to us. I want the band to go on and achieve great things and I want nothing but the best for these guys, because asides from all being great musicians, they are 4 of the nicest human beings you can have the honor to call friends.

This last show is going to be an epic closeout and tribute to our fans… expect madness, mayhem, and special guests, also there is an after party in the works and more news on that will be available in the future. Once again thanks so much and hope to see you all on the 16th.

MANY thanks to everyone who came out this past Saturday night for a wild night of music at The Blockley. It was quite a whirlwind. We were incredibly stoked at how many folks came early to support us, and then the party kept going all night! Big props to all the bands who were a part of that amazing evening. It was an honor to share the stage with such world-class musicians. Hopefully we will reunite w/the Fox Street All Stars, Soul Rebels Brass Band, and the mighty New Mastersounds in the near future.

Our final show of 2011 will take place on Friday, December 16th at the Mroom, 15 West Girard Avenue in Fishtown. We recently moved our rehearsal space to a house a few blocks away on Front Street, and we felt like the time was right to return to the club where we’ve had some of our best on-stage moments. This time, Hamburger Hunt will headline the night. Expect lots of surprises, special guests, and all of your favorite funky HH tunes.

We also welcome our good friends the Will McCranie Trio (WM3) to kick off the night with us. Will is a well-traveled songwriter and guitar phenom living in NYC, and he brings his power trio down to Philly for the first time. Then, we’re on for 2 crazy sets!!! So mark your calendars, trade in your winter boots for your dancing shoes, and we’ll see you there.
